Ancient Woods

Wow, thank you. I've found, over the years, that the more you blend chalk pastels, the more you lose your work; so I force myself to avoid it. But the greens in chalk pastels always seem so false to me. I find I need to add the colours I would have normally mixed into them (to dull them down) if I were using paint, so I have oranges, purples and blues dotted about to draw your eye away for too bright greens. Well, that's what I think anyway. I'm still learning. Always learning.
